Flexible way to earn more money

The coronavirus crisis has resulted in financial difficulties for many and the need for an additional income stream. If you’re looking for a flexible way to earn more money to top up your family income then please read on.

Closure of the high street and the massive increase in online shopping has actually benefited the Flamingo Paperie business operation because we are one of only a handful of companies selling British designed greeting cards online. Instead of selling through shops we sell our products through a network of distributors either online via our personal websites and social media accounts or with the use of catalogues, stock baskets and events (when allowed).

Free website for all new joiners

Every new joiner receives a full e-commerce website with a personalised web address from Day 1. Full training and support will be given if required. You earn 20% commission on all website sales. Non website sales will generate a profit of between 30% and 44%.

Additional ways to earn more money

An additional  5%-15% retail bonus is available if you achieve certain sales levels. You can also earn more money by recruiting. You can earn an additional 5% sponsor bonus if you build a team and introduce new distributors to the business. These additional income levels will reward you for the extra work that you put in. This means that the more active you are, the more you earn.

Excellent value for customers

Our greeting cards offer fabulous value too. You would have to spend between £3 and £5 for a similar quality card in the high street. By comparison our cards are retailed at £2 each or £1.60 each if our customers buy 10 or more (which they frequently do). Follow this link to see a few of our current best sellers. Delivery is free for all online customer orders of more than £30.

More than 95% of our products are designed and printed in the UK using UK-sourced environmentally accredited materials. We have put a “recycle” message on the back of all of our cards because it reminds our consumers to put them in the recycle bin. We work with all of our suppliers to ensure that the material we purchase comes from independently certified and well-managed forests. This is because these suppliers reject illegal and/or destructive logging and are regulated by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). We also favour the exclusive use of vegetable-based inks.

    Welcome to Sarah Loves Cards

    Sarah Loves Cards

Thank you for visiting my Sarah Loves Cards website and blog. After operating as a Phoenix Trader for 13 years I was, as you can imagine, devastated when the company  ceased trading.  This was primarily due to a failed and costly expansion into the US market. Thankfully the Greeting Card Industry (Printers and Industry Experts) rallied round. They helped to breath life back into the UK operation.

On 1st February 2018 the business relaunched as Flamingo Paperie. I signed up as a Pioneer Partner so that I could continue to supply you with their fabulous products.

Like Phoenix Trading, the Flamingo Paperie business will focus on greeting cards, wrapping paper and notecards  all year round. In the Autumn/Winter Charity Christmas Cards, Advent Calendars and Advent Calendar Cards will be added to the range. Flamingo Paperie products will represent at least 90% of my product range. I will also offer you a small range of complimentary products under my umbrella company Sarah Loves Cards.

I will continue to fly the flag for British design. My entire range will have been designed and manufactured in the UK using UK sourced, environmentally accredited materials.

Sarah Loves Cards Championing British Art and Design

Goodbye Phoenix Trading, Hello Sarah Loves Cards

    closing of Phoenix Trading

    Goodbye Phoenix Trading

Phoenix Trading ceased trading on Tuesday 15th August 2017 following an unsuccessful, and costly, launch into the American market place. The demise of Phoenix Trading meant that I could no longer operate as an Independent Phoenix Trader. I was lucky to have been a distributor with this great company for over 12 years during which time I met some wonderful people and made good friends along the way.

    Thank Ewe Greeting Card

I had always loved the company’s ethos The fact that all of its products were designed and printed in the UK was commendable. The wood was sourced from the Scottish managed forests and every card could be traced back to the tree that it came from.

Most noteworthy was the fact that Phoenix Trading had done so much good. Over the years it donated in excess of £2 million to charitable causes , through its charitable trust The Phoenix International Charity. When I originally wrote this post back in 2017  it was unclear  whether The Phoenix International Charity would continue. Well, this fabulous charitable trust is very much still in existence. It has, most recently, been raising funds for the NHS charities and the people of Ukraine.

Sarah Loves Cards Championing British Art and Design

    Hello SarahLovesCards :

So what happened next I hear you ask? While I waited for the Directors of Phoenix Trading to build a strategy for saving the UK business, I launched my own business SarahLovesCards . I wanted to continue supplying my loyal customers with quality, British made greeting cards. At the same time I wanted to stick to the commendable ethos of Phoenix Trading . The first step in the launch of my new business was the unveiling of this fabulous new logo above, designed by Indigo Fox. I then purchased a large stock of Phoenix Trading products (enough to last a couple of years). I also started to feature cards and paper stationery from other British companies with a similar ethos to Phoenix.

    And Hello Flamingo Paperie :

Then, in February 2018, after several months of uncertainty, Robin Bradley, Original Founder and Art Director at Phoenix Trading and Sheila Shaw, Operations Director at Phoenix Trading, hatched Flamingo Paperie. They had a new management team and a brand new business structure. A stronger and more resilient business was rising from the ashes.

I joined immediately, without hesitation, as one of their Pioneer Flamingo Paperie Partners and I haven’t looked back since. Despite the pandemic, the past two years have been my strongest ever in terms of sales and recruitment.  To read more about the launch of Flamingo Paperie please check out my blog ‘What Ever Happened To Phoenix Trading’.
